Originally featured on Britney (2001), Boys is a funky, playful R&B track produced by The Neptunes. Inspired by Prince-inspired funk and minimalist production, the song became the album's fourth single after being remixed by The Neptunes with Pharrell Williams for the Austin Powers in Goldmember soundtrack. Today, it's remembered for its infectious groove, flirtatious lyrics, and stylish music videos.
